Tire opinions
I am shopping for tires for my '72. Tires will be going on 16x6/7's and used for spirited drives on nice days and occasional auto-x. I am not too terribly concerned about low wear ratings, since the miles will accumulate slowly. I want a good, sticky, not too loud tire that is relatively inexpensive. Any recommendations? Anyone tried these new Yoko's?

They seem like good tires to me, you do realize your spedo will be way off w/ that size right?
I just ordered some Yoko es100 tires in 205/55/16 (close to stock diameter)...since I'm not doing auto-x and street driving. I'm sure others will chime in with better reccomendations for auto-x tires/sizes. Nathan

Looks like a good tire. I'm planning to use 16x6 & 7's on my other car as well and these would be a good choice. I know I won't be doing Michelin Pilot XGT V4's again. Too hard and noisy for a sport tire IMHO.
Enjoy!
