Help! My generator light came on. And everytime I step on the brake or set the emergency brake or activate the turn signal, the Tac and the radio loses power. So no turn signals and no brake lights. The voltage at the battery seems fine and the car runs fine other than that I have discribed. I replaced the voltage regulator today with no improvement. Could it be a bad ground or ?? I checked the connectors at the relay board and all the fuses. Has this happend to anyone?? Thanks

Check the 4th fuse from the right, replace even if it is not blown.

everything is dead now. It runs but the tac and turn signal and radio does not work. John, there is no voltage at either end of fuse #4 with the engine running.

I think the fuse is really number 11 (Dave D can verify this) and is fed from the ignition switch. It should only have power when the key is on I think. Aren't electrical problems FUN??!!

Had similar problem and Dave told me fuse #8 (fourth from the right like John said) and he was right. The tack needle was bouncing up and down. Another time the tack needle would not move at all and that was because I had knocked a wire from the coil loose. If you were fiddling around in the engine bay you may have knocked it loose. Hope that's all your problem is.

Hey all,
Broke down and studied the wiring diagram and fixed some of the P.O. wiring jobs. Now here is the fix... fuse # 9!! I am an electrician and I have never seen a fuse do what this was doing. I feel embarrassed but the Goblin is going again and what a freakin easy fix. I am humbled ![]()
