One of the best parts guys I have dealt with is at
Harloff Auto Parts, 7447 University Avenue, La Mesa. (near Helix High School) 619 461-3600. Paul has been a great resource. They are a certified Bosch distributor and Paul is extremely knowledgeable about what will crossover between VWs and Porsches. Their prices are great and the parts delivery has always been responsive. You don't even have to pretend that your looking for VW parts. They are actually on our side. Good Luck!

I use Vee Parts in National City and I think they have a store in El Cajon too? They have been there since the 70's, 619-477-4787.

Thanks guys. I remember seeing Vee advertised about a year ago but I couldn't remember the name. Just looking for a local source for simple things like dome lights, etc.
