quick question: center console removal tips
 

I'm trying to remove a factory center console. Where are the screws that hold down the horizontal portion for the gearshifter/heater lever/light?

I figured it out. For the benefit of the search function and these archives, the horizontal piece is seperate. It can be pried up over the gearshifter. This reveals the screw which fastens the larger console assembly to the floor of the vehicle.
