Nothing special just a few pics

Getting excited on getting my 914-6 going and thought I would post a few pics of my fitting of the engine for the engine mount. Note this is my "spare engine" that is why it is dirty. Also the weber's were just thrown on for eye candy. Had to see what it would look like. Should get the mount welded up in a few days. Can't wait to finish her up and drive it.

Yeh, second that. How did you get the carbs so clean? Just plain ol' carb cleaner doesn't do THAT for me.

Bfrenz, What size -6 were you going with again? 2.7?

Hope you'll get it going soon and bring it down to some Chicago area PCA events this summer!

Carbs are clean because they are basically brand new.
Going with a 2.2 right now because it is a strong runner and was free. I will be rebuilding the 2.7, which is the one in the pic, as a "hobby" once the car is complete.

A free 6 ?! I'm jealous, why can't I find stuff like that ? LOL
Much success with your project BFrenz. That is going to be one fine ride.
