Carpet kit question 914/6 gt clone
 

New to 914's. Doing an interior in charcoal carpet. Debating on German Imported Loop or perlon 10 piece kit? Also door panel options. Quality kits, vendor options? Was looking on 914rubber.com.

Any a advice would be greatly appreciated!

You may want to post it in the 914/914-6 forum here, but also look at 914World.com as a very active resource group.

Everything I have had from 914rubber is top notch. They are really plugged into the 914 community and constantly expanding/adding new items to their supply list, like Pelican.

The color will impact availability. I found no vendor that can match the tan color of my 71 914-6.
Including the folks in Germany.

While not a GT clone, when I removed the backpad in my 914, I went with Perlon to cover the firewall. Thought it looked great.

Racer, that is what I was thinking of doing! Did you add a seat on the passenger side?

Yup. Ran two Kirkey intermediate road race seats with harnesses. Car had an Autopower roll cage and I added harness bars to mount them to. Seats were bolted to the chassis. Not sure if I have pics.. I will need to check on the other computer.
