914-6 sport exhaust

Can anyone provide the measurements/dimensions for cutting dual exhaust outlets into a stock 914-6 muffler?

Have you heard or ridden in a 914-6 with the ‘sport exhaust’? It can get rather tiring for a street car if that’s your plan.

That's the setup I have and you are correct.

here ya go

Sport Muffler v2.0

- it's a contest twixt the song of the webers vs the drone of the exhaust - worst when top is on - but you can outrun it above 40mph or so

- spectators like the twin pipes look & the noise!

. yes i run a sport - on the car since Germany built - it's actually a 'Leistritz' Factory 3-pipe Sport Muffler

- i installed pipe-thread caps on the sport outlets long ago when seeking "quiet", have run it both ways over the yrs, currently have the single outlet capped/welded

I have a Dansk GT on my 2.4S motor, and I love the sound of it.
