Nylon inserts
Clay and I split the case on my 2.0 this weekend, found the 6 nylon inserts to be in various pieces. I guess these are to keep the long bolts from vibrating. How important is replacing these during my rebuild. Thanks Randy
P.S. If they need to be replaced where do I find them.

The plastic inserts have been in the complete engine gasket kits that I have bought. I guess to buy them separately you would have to go to the VW parts sales.
