Question Tracing a short

My problem started when I blew the 25A fuse on the regulator plate when I turned the key, no sound from the fuel pump. I pulled the wires from the fuel pump and found that they both were grounded. I disconnected the white wire from the AAR and found it was grounded too. The red wire from the AAR measured at 13.3 ohms, so I don't believe it has failed. I pulled the plug from the regulator plate and found that the white wire was still grounded, and the thick yellow wire was grounded too. Anyone have any ideas? I need help. Thanks.

Do you have a schematic for your year/model?
Its possible that the ignition switch has shorted, causing the grounding of the others. I don't have access to my schematic here.

Good luck,

Put all the wires you disconnected back in place, put a new fuse back in the 25A spot again, pull the fuel pump relay and the heater blower relay
(the two aft most relays on the board), make sure the heater blower switch (the red knob lever on the center tunnel) is off and disconnect the four pin plug on the aft end of the board, turn the key on, plug in the relays one at a time. One of these relays mightagain blow the fuse. This will tell you which circuit is bad, either the fuel pump or the heater blower motor (in the engine compartment). If the fuse doesn't blow, you could have a short in the disconnected four pin plug, it's wires or in the computer.
My guess is a bad fuel pump. The hot wire to the fuel pump is Black with Red in color.
