calling all 914 gurus

I just picked up a 914 with a 3.2 stuffed in it, has a 901 box with msx gears.

The suspension is coil over all around, w/front and rear sway bars.

I know the car, and its always had a tendency for the rear end to get a bit loose..

What are common spring rates for a track only 914 with semi tube construction.... ie susp points connected....

Im so used to tuning cars with the 911 weight bias that this new mid engined car is all new ground for me.

I also have a 914 with a 3.2 and the same gears that I use primarily for track. I run 220 lb rear springs and 22mm front torsion bars. Many use even heavier spring rates but I like a car that moves a bit.

I use 300# springs in my race car. Anything less and the inside front wheel would lift in a turn. Does the car have a limited slip, if so you want the rear spring rates to be a little higher than without.
