VDO faceplate customization
 

I must have white face plates on my gauges, I have a 76 2.0
how is this done ?, is there a kit for these gauges or do I have to send them somewhere ?

A few ways to do the job.

Step 1- Remove the glass bezel. (Check the "Gauge Refurbishment" tech article elsewhere on this site.)
Step 2- Find or make a white-backed face plate.
Step 3- Install that into the gauge.
Step 4- Put the glass bezel back on.

Alternate method:
Step 1- Send the gauges to a good VDO shop. (Pelican has done similar stuff in the past; we have a VDO shop that we have worked with. Call and ask if we still do that.)
Step 2- Get them back, all done.
