Swivel foot valve adjust screws

I'm installing 911 swivel foot valve adjust screws in my 72 1.7 ltr 914-4, are these set at .004 as in the 914-6 or .006 as the original ones?

Why are you doing this? The lash adjustment depends on the cam so if the cam is the same as original then lash is the same.

Installing 911 swivels on your 1970-73 914 will result in more precise valve adjustments and a quieter engine. Swivels keep precise contact between the foot and valve stem for reduced wear as well.

The valve clearances aren't determined by which rocker arms or adjusting lugs you have. Use the 0.006" spec as per usual.

Thanks Dave. I've just rebuilt the top 'end', installed the swivels, set them at .006 however they are noisier than the stock ones, expected them to be quitter.

Are all the 911 adjusters on the Pelican site the same part and made by the same manufacturer?

Just different packaging.
