I'm not sure if you've seen this site for a 914 in England.

Its worth a look, the quality of the work is thoroughly oustanding, asthetically you be the judge, but its hard to fault the work, (or the website dedicated to this car/project/rocket)

Yeah, pretty interesting. His discussion on torque and HP is great!! But it is easy to draw the wrong conclusion from the end of it... :( He does not point out that you can (should) just downshift rather than staying in whatever given gear....
