Shocks and Springs

Though I looked at the products offered within Pelican, I am also interested in 'stock performance' shocks and springs. Any advice for a '74 914-2.0 refresh?

Send a PM to Dave at Pelican Parts - he's the resident 914 expert and will definitely have some suspension advice for you.

Or just post here and he'll see it in a day or two.

A setup that I like, that is not too bad on the street:
- Bilstein HD shocks for the rear
- Bilstein Performance (not sure if B6 or B8) shocks for the front
- Stock torsion bars in the front
- 100 lb/in springs in the rear
- Adjustable front sway bar (Weltmeister or Tarrett) in the 17mm-22mm range.

You can use the sway bar adjustment or the front and rear camber to even out the handling.

You can go more aggressive, but it starts getting annoying on the street.
