F/S Type IV valve covers

These cast aluminum covers are in production and will be ready by the end of next week. Each kit contains valve cover gaskets, sealing washers, studs, acorn nuts and instructions.

If you're interested send me a PM or post here.

Cost, shipped to anywhere in the USA is $277.00
Cost, shipped to Europe is $295.00

The color in the photo is off, each cover has been steel shot peened and is a natural aluminum color.

I have photo's of the Type 1 version mounted on a Type 1 engine but since the Type IV's are still being machined, no photo's of them on an engine.

Here's a set of covers I installed on a Type 1 engine Sorry that it's not more descriptive but I think you get the idea.

Are they intended to be a copy of the type 547s?

Yes,

Since the Furhmann Type 547 was standard in 550's, I've sold quite a few valve covers to the guys that own replica 550 Spyders and Replica 356 Speedsters. Many of the Spyder and Speedster owners also have Type IV engines so the decision was made to make similar covers for that engine.

You have to admit, they look a whole lot better than tin covers.

Besides, with these covers, you'll get better gas mileage and you'll add 10 MPH to your top end (not)

Unfortunately, no. I'll be in Morro Bay. But, if you're local to the inland empire, I live in Ontario, about 14 or 15 miles from where the 914 swap meet is held.

Once again, they're available however on a very limited basis. Also, the foundry is now charging more so I had to raise the price and USPS is charging more for out of country postage.

USA destination now $285.00
Foreign destination now $320.00
