924 944 gauge wiring difference?
Does anybody know the difference in pinout for the gauges from a 1979 924 and a 1983 944?

I am not sure but if the guages are the same, then the wiring harness would probably be the same. I have never worked on a 944 but there should not be much difference in the guage wiring.

Mostly the same as the early 944's with the exception of the tach which does come off of the trigger side of the coil. No fuel consumption gauge thus no sensor in the back of the speedo either.
I have an old Clymer book. Thinking about cutting the back off of it and scanning it into a PDF file.
