Replacement Factory Studs
 

HI all,

I am rebuilding my 968 race motor after something go sucked into the intake and damaged the bore. I have had to remove all of the studs to get the bore replated in Nikasail, Some of the studs were damaged during removal and need to be replaced, I am not super keen of getting race ware studs etc as they are expensive.

Anyone know of a source of factory studs? Or a Std stud kit?

The factory part number is 944 101 197 03

HI All,

The head studs are ok, its most of the others, water pump studs, main bearing studs etc... I cant find anywhere that has them, and pet etc doesnt list a part number,

water pump studs you can get in a kit from 944online or just hardware store.

there are no extant part numbers for the main studs - Porsche considered them integral to the block itself - but Raceware sells their own replacement kit.
