Lightbulb Here is my 944 Turbo

Here is my 944 Turbo, year model 1986.

I have spend loads of dollars on this car.

New clutch kit
New speedometer
New rear brake rotors
New brake pads
Rebuilt Steering rack
New Wheel bearings
Used rear left bearing spindle
All new cooling hoses
New sway bar bushes, front & rear
Hatch seal
Oil pressure transmitter
Cured all oil leaks
Rebuilt control arms
Tie-rods+ boots
2 new cv joints

This week will be back at the shop for new water pump, belts, thermostats, oil cooler gaskets, front end seals.
All this just as routine maintenance.

New tyres next.

Boy, I feel better....just venting here....

How much have you spent on maintenance? Did you do it yourself or have it done at a shop?

Don't feel bad......try keeping 4 of them up at the same time.....=( I have done those same things to just about all of mine.......they will all need it done or have recently had it done.....by-product of age, not mileage.

That is the point I am trying to get across with my '88 that I am selling.

Thanks for all your comments. All the labour has been done at a Porsche especialized workshop.
I must have spend at least well over US$ 3000~4000 JUST IN LABOUR.

Some of the work, like the rear bearing spindle was first thought to be a bad brake caliper, so a reconditioned one was flown in from the USA.
Eventually, I got upset and got my hands in there and found the fault. Normally I trouble shoot, and I then get the shop to do as I ask.
