NOT OT - my first Ebay auctions
Hey all, i recently put up my first 2 ebay auctions (some spare parts I have laying around). This is my first attempt at an eBay auction, so please keep your comments to constructive criticism

ok, anyone want to clue me in as to why nothing comes up when I search for '944 fender' on ebay? Do I not have an auction there?

Seems kinda expensive, especially since your reserve is higher then 175. My guess is this will not sell, too high of price.
Sometimes it better to start the bidding out low with no reserve to try and spark a bidding war. Brings out the primal side in us. Sometimes it gets the best of you and you pay too much for something. But when you have a high starting bid it scares most people away. If you want a high price for it, slap a reserve on it, start the bidding low, and include a buy it now for $175 or whatever. That way people bid on it and creates competition. And if john q public wants it for the high price of $175 he can just buy it with the buy it now. That would be my pointer. |

Why will UPS not ship a hood? maybe i'd have to go with fedEx?

The length of the package plus the girth must not exceed 130 inches. Those are UPS limits.

yah dude, go with fedex freight! That's what I did with my rear hatch, and it went all good! I dont know much about my Porsche yet, but I am an e-bay FREEK

Yah definetly too high of prices, even if the ending bid was 175 for a fender i wouldnt buy it. I need that same fender, and i found it for 100 shipped.

yeah, i'm realizing that the fender's price is too high... i think the hood is dead-on, though. WHen the auction expires, I will start the bidding at $100 or so
