Changed clutch now starts and dies

Hi i have a 84 944 auto it has had a clutch put in instead of the rubber flywheel. it was running fine until the rubber centre went in the clutch. the engine still fired up and ran as it should but the was obviously no drive.

I have now replaced the clutch and put everything back together but it will now only start for about 5 seconds then die. i have changed the speed and reference sensors and gapped them i have changed the DME relay and i have checked the AFM and the fuel presure all seem okay but it will not go! if i touch the throttle id dies instantly.

please help! thank you

Check the simple things first.

1) Did you reconnect your electrical connection to the throttle position switch?

2) Did you reconnect your plug for the AFM?

3) Do you have any vacuum lines not connected?
