S2 Check Engine and ABS lights on

So I've read some previous posts about this issue and I'm just wondering if anyone has any new advice. Light go on and off intermittently, on most of the time now. Battery has been checked and is actually overcharged according to the parts guy. It is always on a tender when not being driven. It is a cab so mainly a weekend car.

Any advice? When the lights are on should I go to a big parking lot and slam on the brakes to see if the ABS is working? Could it be a faulty ABS sensor?

Thanks! - John

You need to test the wheel sensors at the ABS controller.
The service manual has full info.
