What size bolts...rotor removal

Hello all,

When you want to remove the rotors there are two threaded holes in the rotors that you can thread bolts into to break the rotor from the hub.

Does anyone know the size/thread specs for these?

Thanks in advance,

GHEN

It's been a few years but I'm pretty sure they are M8 bolts. Make sure they are long without a smooth bit near the head and that they are hardened (not standard bolts as those can break off).

edit: looks like M8x1.25

I cant remember for sure either the standard 10mm bolts everywhere in the engine compartment or the thread of the rotor hold down bolts.

Thanks all, M8 did the trick. Rotors we're so bad they split during the operation.

That's okay new rotors were part of the plan.

Again thanks so much everyone for your help.

This is what I wound up with. I am glad these failed off of the car & not on it. Here you see it leaning against the strut assembly that was the catalyst for all of this nonsense!
