Want To Trade Black Rear Valence For Red One

I just bought a black 951 rear valence in excellent condition. If anyone out there has a red one that they would like to trade, let me know.

Trying to avoid having to paint it.

Actually, not a waste of time. On one occasion I did see a white car with a black rear valence and it looked pretty good.

Remember, cosmetically speaking, the valences main purpose is to cover up the muffler and spare tire well.

Here is a thought, paint it. Spot painting is extremely cheap.

Just in case someone is thinking of doing this....for future reference.....

I took for guards red 1984 944 to the body shop.....asked about painting a gold-colored rear valance I recently bought on Ebay...to match the guards red....body shop guy went into the computer and used an "standard industry computer program"....it provides parts cost as well as labor hours to paint a specific part of the car for a particular model....

The estimate to paint and install the rear valence is $120.

By the way, the computer program listed the price for a new rear valence at $1,485!!! YIKES!!!!
