Firewall power wire pass-through
While I was looking for spots to pass an 8-gauge power wire through the firewall of my '87 944 for an amplifier, I came across this image of a disassembled 944 dash that had been previously wired.
It looks like a perfect spot to enter the cabin right behind the glove box, and I'm assuming that it emerges right near the battery, which is obviously ideal. The wire will be terminated in the now-vacated spare tire compartment, but once it's through the firewall, the trickiest part should be out of the way. Two questions:

I don't know why my images aren't showing up. Kind of pointless without them.

I cant see the pictures, but...
Yes, there are factory gromets to the engine compoartment behind the glovebox. I used one that came out right by the battery for my amps. I was able to place my amps under the front seats. I used 2 (a sub, and a 4 channel) |
Let's try this instead: https://autobahnperf.com/wp-content/uploads/2015/04/porsche-944-dash-board-removal.jpg

And bumflick, from your profile garage, I'm pretty sure we know each other. You were driving that Allroad the day you sold me your side mirrors at The Prado, right?
