Len Cummings fuel lines (installed with pics)

In case anyone is interested, figured I'd post a few pics up of Len's fuel lines installed on my '88 924S. Unlike most 944s, mine has the fuel damper on the front end of the fuel rail for some reason, so Len made some adjustments on the standard early 944 line to make them fit (specifically, lengthening the feed line by 3" after the regular 944 ones he sent were a bit too short for my liking. All for a very reasonable price.

Anyhow, dealing with Len is easy and the lines appear to be excellent quality. They came with foam padding around them as well to keep from chafing. Here are some pics (the jumper line is OEM). Now I can feel much more comfortable about driving this car with new fuel lines instead of 30-year old ones....

new ones installed

Smart move. I put Len's lines in my SC, and he's now helping me with an oil line for exhaust back date. He's a great guy to deal with, ran a respected p-car garage outside Boston for years. This stuff is just retirement play for him. Cool car, BTW. John

Len's a great guy. We went through probably 3 sets of lines before we found the perfect fit for my 83. I guess the 83 has different routing than other early cars. I can't say enough good about him. If I ever need fuel lines for another p-car, he'll be my first, last, and only stop.

This point is everything, and consistent with my experience. Thereís every reason to email Len (no PMís as he has said) when pricing out a solution for your car.

touch base with Len directly. The price depends on the car and the fittings you want, etc. But I found it to be extremely reasonably priced, and I'm not a "big spender" type.

I don't remember the exact price, but I do remember one thing. I paid Len the original quoted price, even after he shipped me 3 separate sets of line he made. I even asked for an updated price, and expected it too be much higher than quoted. I don't normally give props to sellers, but he goes out of his way to make things work. That is a somewhat rare trait these days. There really isn't a lot of different options for sellers for fuel lines for these cars anymore, and the fact that Len is one of them is a godsend......

I remember going there in the '90s and there were always a dozen or so 356s laying around.

I bought my 1st 944 from Len in 2002.
