Wiper Fluid Related Question
 

HI all:

I recently replaced the check values in my windshield fluid dispensing system. I did this in the hope that the lines would remain filled and instantly (or close to instantly) spray fluid when I pulled on the stalk. It's better but there is still a delay in fluid being sprayed on the windshield. My guess its one or two swipes of the blades across the screen take place before fluid starts spraying.

Is this normal or not. The delay is longer than any other Porsche or car that I've owned. If isn't normal, the my guess is there is a small vacuum leak somewhere that permits the fluid to drain back into the reservoir.

Before I start replacing lines, I'm interested to hear if anyone has any other ideas as to what's going on.

Replace the lines with clear hose. You will then be able to see where the fluid is draining from the lines and see with of the check valves needs replacing.
