Do these cars have wheel well liners?

Just wondering if the 924s came with wheel well covers? That open space behind the front wheels does a great job of collecting anything the tires kick up! I noticed that on the driver's side, the smaller space in front of the wheels has a rubber cover, but not on the passenger side. Thanks.

I don't think so. Mine doesn't have any, nor have I seen any indication of fasteners or any other way of attaching liners.

That said, I may do what we do on the rally car - buy some thin-gauge HDPE sheeting and cut some pieces to enclose the fenders behind the front wheels.

All of our 944’s have full liners in the front wheel wells.

924S did not come with fender liners. On the drivers side, there was a small panel to keep dirt from being splashed up into the air filter intake tube.

A 924S is not a 944, which did have full fender liners.

Thanks for all the info! I would guess that 944 liners could not be (easily?) mounted to a 924s, that is, even if you could find any for sale.

It's not a big problem, just have to blow out the debris from time to time.

I don't think the early 944's had them. The 924s is a lot like them, more so than the later cars.

I don't think they came on early 944's either. My '86 944 did though, so I would assume all late 944 would have.

My 84 doesn't have liners but my 89 S2 does.
