front brake pads

Before removing the brake pads do i have to unclip those two clips above and below the brake shoe ?:confused

You first remove the pins (althouth these look like they might be rusted in place).

Then, remove the anti rattle clip.

Then compress the brake pistion into the caliper.

Then remove the pad by the caliper ( inner).

Then remove the pad on the other side (outer).

Car has been living in a barn outside for the last two years and rust is everywhere.
Anti rattle is already loose...
Will follow your suggestions and keep you posted.
