Automatic transaxle rebuild

Hi all I’m considering rebuilding my automatic transaxle myself. It is actually 2 separate units that bolt together. The final drive and the automatic transmission. The final drive is about the same as a manual. It’s the trans that scares most people and make me slightly nervous. The kit is cheap enough and I have the Porsche service manual that shows step by step. Anyone else ever try this
