hi im looking for a shop that does differential swaps .
I currently have a porsche 944 turbo transmission and it is a open diff.
i purchased a USED LSD unit from a 88-89 turbo model.
i need to swap the ring and pinions off my old one because it didnt come with the R-P on the LSD UNIT.

Located in Montreal area of canada. porsche 944 turbo.

I highly recommend Dimi at Flying Horse. He built me an excellent S2 LSD trans. Price was great, shipping was easy from the usa. I'm in the Toronto area.

I'd call a Montreal Porsche dealership and see what they could recommend for you. An ad in kijiji should help as well.
There should also be a list of Technical Centres in your area on the PCA site that you can access if you're a member.

i am not a member :S.... i will try KIJIJI and call a local porsche dealer!

how much was the shipping ? i am in montrael area to MD is where dimi is ?


i have had some horror shipping accidents thees passed years i dont trust UPS and such anymore :S

I had him ship it to a Border agent and I crossed the border to pick it up. He shipped the transaxle in a large cooler, it was perfect. I think shipping was approx 100$ USD.

I could do this for you, and I'm in Halifax. However, I'm not sure that shipping to Halifax would be any less expensive than Eastern US.
Where did you buy the LSD unit? Do you know where there are more, I'm looking to do another one, exactly like what you're doing.
