ARP Studs & Steel Lugs For Braid Wheels? (Solved)
Hey all,
I did some searching and didn't find the information I needed. Hoping someone can help! I have a 1987 Porsche 944 S. Does anyone know the thread size and pitch for the lug nuts? Does anyone know what the ARP part number is for extended studs for front and rear? I will be running off-road with Brad Fullrace TA wheels, so i need extended ARP studs for strength, and i need long open-ended steel tapered lug nuts for safety. Thanks! - James EDIT: SOLVED: Threads: M14 x 1.5 Seat, OEM: Spherical/Rounded Seat, Braid: Acorn/Tapered Stud Upgrade: https://www.pelicanparts.com/More_Info/RENLS0872.htm?pn=REN-LS08-72 Last edited by MotoRider42HC; 03-22-2019 at 07:43 AM.. |

The lugs are 14mm x 1.5, but you have to careful to get the correct lug nuts. Porsche rims require nuts with rounded seats while many aftermarket wheels will require conical seats. Very important that the nuts match the wheels for proper seating and strength, especially if you are off-roading.
Pelican sells both types of seats in steel open end lug nuts. Last edited by theer; 03-22-2019 at 03:46 AM.. |

The Porsche studs are fine ... the problem you might have is finding the correct length , the longer ones are getting harder to find !
If you need 85mm or 100mm , it might be quite a task ...

65mm studs = 911.331.671.00
72mm studs = 901.331.671.01 Should only be as just as long as needed. Longer adds leverage and can strip knurled end. Last edited by DannoXYZ; 03-22-2019 at 10:40 AM.. |
