944 normally aspirated LSD

Does anyone know if the limited-slip transaxles in the normally aspirated 944's are strengthened in the same fashion as the transaxles in the turbos?

I picked up an NA 944 for a few hundred dollars with the plan of swapping the engine some time in the future when the tired, stock engine gives up. I found out after I bought it that it is equipped with a limited slip transaxle. I see no reason why it would be strengthened, but if by some miracle it is, it would open up my options a bit for potential engine swaps. I'd rather not grenade a perfectly good LSD if I could avoid it.

The NA transaxles are not strengthened as the ones in Turbo and S2 models

Further question......is the LSD section of the NA transaxle equal to a turbo transaxle with LSD. I have a 5P, and AOS transaxle, neither with LSD. I'm getting desperate for LSD (that just sounds wrong....), will a NA LSD center section work in a 5P or AOR? It's an easy job, if they interchange. Oh ya, I should mention....I'm poor.

The Differential carrier is not the same.
I have factory LSD units in stock if someone is interested.
