78 - 924 backfires
Help!, I just replaced the head gasket on my wife's 924. Timing is set, new distributer cap, rebuilt distributer, new rotor, new plugs, checked fuel system; injectors & fuel pressure good, spark plug wires in spec., can't find any vacuum leaks, but I get a missing, & backfire at high rpm's when shifting. Also at cold idle rpm is 950, when hot without radiator fan running 1400 rpm at idle.
Any suggestions where to go from here? I have to have it smogged this month. |
