what black insulation thing are you talking about?

if you are referring to the back cover - a junkyard or the dealer.

I know what you are talking about... that black sealant stuff that seals out the exhaust. I am not sure about getting the factory stuff, but I am sure that many other 'putty' type things would work, since all it does is seal out the fumes. You could probably use some caulk on it, thats what I was thinking about doing. I did not look at all for the factory stuff at any sites, so it might be available.

Buttle [B-U-ttle] tape. It is the black sticky putty like stuff. Comes in a roll and you should be able to get it at any parts store.

Actually, you want to get Butyl tape. Any auto glass place should have some. I just went in to a glass repair shop and they sold me some for about $12. It's a black caulking looking kinda thing.

Just picked up one at local NAPA for $9,
neither autozone, advance auto parts, lowes or home depot didn't even knew what I was talking about
