I rode that route in the backseat of my Gramie's Caddy DeVille about 13 years ago. Great views. I wish I could drive it in one of my sports cars.

there was a spot in the road that caltrans marked as:; "warning crashing surf on roadway".. it was about 40 feet long and you had to time the waves without a spotter... i played speed surfer for about an hour.... your right "what a kick"

I'm envious of everybody that gets to drive on that road. I have my own little getaway road about a half hour from my house, but it isn't near as impressive as that appears to be.
