crusecontrol

i need to get my crusecontrol fixed on my 1988 924s. got alot of leg cramps this last trip....anyone know what it might cost?

Not sure what it would cost, but there are sometimes some easy fixes for it. Check out http://www.clarks-garage.com/ They is a whole buch of information about 944's (I think a lot would apply to your 924). There is a section about the cruise control that gives information on what to fix.

still cruzin.. leg cramps and all.

funny though......legs don't bother me on tight corners?????

Don't know what Clarks says, but I have fixed two of them (one on my 944 and the other on an old Mercedes) by resoldering every joint on the back whether it looked like it needed it or not.

i cleaned the servo ... road test tomorrow.... cleaning the solder gun tonite if needed... thanks for the help

A pencil-type iron works best for this due to closeness of connections.
