alternator compatibility?/ALT NEEDED!
 
i have a early 85 porsche 944 and the alternator recently went out on it...i was looking on ebay for a replacement and i was wondering if i could use an alternator from a late 85, an 83 or an 88... or if anyone has one they want to sell me it would be greatly appreciated..i am unable to drive to work until i get one..

No the later alternator is 115 amp, the early used a 110 amp.
