Suspension refresh/upgrade for 18" wheels?

I have a really clean & original 1990 S2 with just under 60k miles and am going to run 18 inch Gemballa wheels and have been reading about needing to change caster blocks for the larger wheels. Since everything is 30 years old, what other suggestions/upgrades should I consider while I'm under there without spending a fortune. Everything is stock & original except upgraded M030 bars. Anything I do, I don't want to adversely affect its originality. Mainly canyon carving & occasional track day. The car handles the canyons fairly well now and since I've read the 18's will harsh up things a bit, I'd like to not make it any harsher.

My 91 is all stock with a little over 68k miles. My struts are shot, but I plan to do a stock replacement on all four corners. I wouldn’t do anything extra, but that’s me. Just enjoy!

Front end lifts on acceleration. When you push down at the fender the car tends to bounce a bit (not damping effectively). Not leaking fluid however.
