1983 944 Rattle

My 944 vibrates at idle a when it's cold.. once it's warmed up the vibration goes away...

The motor mounts were checked and are ok.
Replaced the front sway bar bushings (which were bad) and that got rid of the vibration when the car is warm... but still, during warmup it vibrates lot at rpm's lower than 1000

Any thoughts?

Let me rephrase this... it rattles less when it's warmed up... but it doesn't rattle at all if i rev it up to 1000rpm...

mine does the same, engine mounts have been replaced, speaking to an old guy who had one when new and he said it was the same from the factory so i figure that there is no need to worry

Well... I have an appointment this Tuesday at what has been recommended as the best Porsche place in my area... I went there last week and have never seen so many Porsches in one place.... I will post what they tell me as far as the causes of my rattles, vibrations and shakes...
