Shipping a 944 fender?
I have an ad up in the for sale section parting out an 83 944. A fellow member is asking if I will ship a fender to him. I’m not opposed to doing this but not really sure how to go about doing it. Is it best to pad it all up and put it in a box? Or should I just slap a label on it and write fragile and hope for the best? Has anyone had any luck shipping fenders and which company did you use? Thanks, Andy.

Wrap it in bubble wrap a few times, make cardboard 'boxes' to go on each the corners and wrap the whole thing in cling wrap/stretch film. Then ship by Greyhound because they are far cheaper than UPS or FedEx. The same method applies for fenders, doors, bumpers, seats, torque tubes, exhausts, etc. I've also heard you can use Fastenal to ship store to store if you have those nearby but have no experience with them.
