Make sure the control rods, under the steering wheel on the right, are still attached and not broken. Sometimes the plastic clips break leaving you with the defroster vents open, which lets hot air come in. I had the same problem on mine and found one of the rods to be hanging down with a broken clip. I got a new clip from the dealer for $2.00. If that's not it then its probably some loose circuitry with your hot/cold knob. Good luck.
