I can't comment on the door speakers - door speakers have been in cars since 1983 -

If you search this forum, there are posts on speaker removal with and without taking out the glass. I replaced mine with the glass out - the biggest concern is not tearing up the vinyl.

I managed to replace rear speakers by pulling away the trim and vinyl in the front and reaching in with a stubby screw driver. I didn't have to remove the vinyl or the window...

Literally takes me about 1 minute to pop the rear windows out and about 2 minutes to fit them back in. Why would you even bother struggling with them in and risk tearing the vinyl.

No video but I’ll tell you <how I learnt to do it> courtesy of V2Rocket on Rennlist, I’m sure he won’t mind me sharing.

Nope, all my posts are copyrighted but you can license them for reproduction at $3.00 a copy

Even faster way to get windows out is have a helper stand outside ready to catch it... you climb into the back seat, set your foot square on the glass and push! Comes out quick.

Yes, yes, I do that too. I do as you state in the link while the misses lies on the back seats and pushes with both feet. She expects a foot massage afterwards though
