Porsche Crest Cheapest New/Rebuilt Brake Calipers (Late 944)

My original brake calipers are completely toast. Some idiot took a die grinder to them to cut the slide pins out, and managed to cut into the caliper frame.... derp!

Looking for the cheapest possible way to buy replacements that are NEW or Refurbished.

Note: Must fit 15" wheels!!!

Thanks for the help guys!

P.S. Autozone has them listed, but when i went into the store, they had to call Duralast and were told they are discontinued.

Edit:
need all four corners
need a complete kit

Cheapest is to buy a used set and rebuild them yourself, you can find them for around $50 and a new hardware and rebuild kit is about $100 per caliper, so iro $600 for all 4. New they are about $350 each plus you’ll still need to buy a hardware kit that’s another $75 each.

I am willing to package and ship a set of four possibly mismatched calipers if the shipping costs are covered in full. I cannot guarantee anything about the calipers - it is an "as-is" basis. There will be corrosion.

Personally, I'd ship them to a caliper restoration service to get the bore properly cleaned and abraded, maybe a nice zinc plating (my preference), and, if you're up for rebuilding, decline the assembly step and DIY.

... I guess PM me...

for the cost of the rebuilt stock NA boat anchors, you could get adapter brackets and new alum calipers from Wilwood on all 4 corners.

save something like 8 lbs per corner iirc, no idea on their calipers being any better than stock though.

Did you check any of the ads for parting a car? There are many suppliers of used parts such as Plyhammer Parts or eBay. As for new ones (remanufactured) it's hit or miss. Sometimes they are listed as available only to find out they can't be had. At other times, there seems to be little problem. For me, the cheapest option might be (no affiliation) here.

look at this old post, im going this route when i store my 944S this winter.
Make you own late NA "Wilwood big brake kit.

the link for the adapter brackets takes you to the site go in the catalogue and you can find the brackets.

cheap, better performance, lighter.

I wonder if Plyhammers Parts has a set. His son does powder coating too. Buy a set, get them coated, then rebuild them yourself!
