Fuel related I think?

I have a delema. my car is still being difficult. I have replaced my fuel regulators my wires my fuel filter and the car is still hesitating when I demand power quickly out of it. isn't there a bosch fuel comp that could possibly go bad?? is there any way to reset it. Also that little screw on the throttle body..I have heard that it is a misture and I have heard it is a idle? where should that be.

Fuel regulators? You mean both of the small round things on the fuel rail?

Could be the flapper in the AFS is sticking or is out of adjustment.

Could be a vacuum leak.

What year and model is your car?

Hint: Add it to your sigiture line.

When was the last time you changed your timing and balance belts and/or cam chain and tensioner?

When you say "demand power quickly", do you mean WOT (Wide Open Throttle)? Everything Bosch makes can go bad, but they usually don't "reset", you have to rebuy. Could be your TPS is bad/out of adjustment. It should click as soon as you crack the throttle. Hell, it could be you DC, TPS, Lambda, NPT II, EFI, VL, AFS, AAV, or a bad IEHFCHEU valve, ya never know.

well this is what happens..I start to accelerate with my foot barely on the gas. barelly enouph to keep the revs climbing then it hits three grand and then feels like it is running out of fuel then I step on the gas a little bit more and it shoots off like it should.. I just replaced both fuel regualtors and the 02. is there any way to reset the tps??or adjust should I say?

Ooops!

There is only one fuel regulator. The other is just a hydraulic muffler. If you replaced the dampener with a regulator you've got fuel restrictions!!!

If your talking about a 944 you have a fuel pressure regulator and dampner on the fuel rail.

Why would you be replacing anything without first diagnosising and confirming a particular part is faulty, or do you just hope installing a nice shiny-new part will fix it???

First check the battery and ALL ground connections, if the fuel pump relay is over 5 yrs old throw it away, check all the service parts; plugs, cap and rotor arm, fuel and air filter and plug wires. Then check the fuel
pressure, air/vacuum leaks and the throttle switch and connectors.
No workshop manual? close the hood until you get one...

Why would the butterfly need freeing off? If you can duplicate the problem without driving the car try using another TPS just plugged into the wire harness; rev the engine and twist the TPS at the same time, no running fault = replace TPS.
This way of testing means you don't have to remove the exisiting switch.

I found the Pattern!! right after it rains my car picks up and has no lag or delay. it works perfectly. The air is much more dense. what would control that?
