Tumbler and key.

I can't seem to remove the tumbler on my 84'. I've tried to do what it say's on FR wilks site but the casting on mine looks just a tad different. But I tried to drill in the same position but I still cant get the darn thing off. I don't want to drill anymore either. Is there another way of removing it other than brute force wich I am trying right now

What tumbler and key are we talking about?

This is what I'm talking about. I saw no spring. So I'm afraid to drill some more.
Notice the hole where I drilled.

Okay, so I really screwed up and I had to end up hammering out the old assembly out. I lost my patience. But the good news is that I got the new assembly in and I'll be driving the 944 by tommorrow night.
