steering rack

Leaving work today and noticed a puddle of oil, great. My steering rack is leaking from the shaft that the steering wheel u-joint is connected. Pulling the rack looks easy enough, does anyone know where I can get a rebuild kit or set of seals? Any advise would be welcome.

Thanks

Send a message via Yahoo to Cebu
Go to: http://www.connactivity.com (924/944/968 Frequently ask questions)
click on the subject "suspension, steering and related". there are instructions there.

Cebu, The site talks about the tie rod end seals failing. I'm leaking from the input shaft. Any other suggestions?

Thanks

I bought my rebuilt RP at Advance Auto. It cost about $300. It's been on for 5 months.

I also purchased rebuilt brake calipers at the same store for both a Mercedes and my 944T. I know this sounds like heresy, but the parts continue to work. Perhaps I shouldn't be using my name when I admit such.
