Outside door handle doesn't work
 

Out of the blue the outside handle does not open the door. from the inside it still moves mechanism up and down. Once I removed it nothing is broken. Any advice?

Wear and tear on plastic parts causes rod not to push on mechanism as much.

Adjustable ball-end on rod should be adjusted so total-length is longer by about 3-4mm.

Be extremely careful you don't hurt any wires when removing & installing.
