alarm system
Can someone tell me how the alarm system on my '84 944 works. I can't find anything in the repair manuals. Also where is it located in the car?

My 84 944 still has the factory alarm witch is a keyhole outside the car behind the drivers doorhandel, this is basicley a relsy and flasher hooked to your car horn and sounds the horn if you open the car door.
I had a new alarm installd, the old factory dos'nt have motion or vibration sensers, and a person can still clime thrue the window without seting off the alarm, If this is the same facory alarm I have keep it fore nestaldga but get a new alarm to protect you'r car. p.s. I had lojack installed and at $600 its a good investment. |
