951 Turbocharger Rebuild - What Else to Do While You're In There

Hi...

I'm about have my '87 turbocharger unit rebuilt. Some replacement things to do seem obvious: install fresh o-rings and crush washers all around and replace aging vacuum lines under the intake manifold. I also plan to install a new AOS with new o-rings. B

Because I'm new to the 951, I'm looking for guidance on what else should be done while I'm in there. For example, would your recommend replacing the turbo's oil feed and return lines and the vest line rather than cleaning them. Given the amount of time necessary to get to the turbo, I'd hate to miss doing something

Thanks for any insights you can provide

Check your power steering unit for leaks. It has to come off for access to the turbo anyway. Also, replace the AOS seals and look for leaks from the clutch master cylinder. It's hidden under the Power Brake unit and hard to see otherwise. Have fun.
