Early 944 rear wheel shafts and bearing

I have just replaced my rear wheel bearings, however I have a problem putting them back together.
I have used
http://www.pelicanparts.com/944/944_parts/944_83-85/Pic42.jpg
as a guide, however I am not sure how the two spacers, part 2 and part 10 go back. I know which is which, but does the chamfered edge on each piece face towards the box or to the axle nut. Mine were facing different directions on each side- I assume as someone has replaced them incorrectly in the past.

Anyone able to help me please?

Thanks
Paul
